This is such sad news. He designed really amazing stuff! R.I.P Alexander McQueen.

A great talent lost, Another victim of what appears to be a sense and depth of hopelessness that few can imagine??

A sad, sad loss to fashion, Youth culture and what it means to be British. Much love to you and your mother. May you both rest in peace.

Lately I've been wondering. If you look at depression like a cancer of the mind, is it right to step in and stop somebody from commiting suicide? Given that nobody can know exactly what it's like for someone else to experience their depression(even if we happen to also be depressed) who am I to decide that it's not up to another person how they choose to live or die? My mother has attempted numerous times, and due to her bi polar will most likely do so again. Due to the fact that I dont want my mother dead, I'll obviously do all I can to stop her, but is it morally right? I hope McQueen is happier now, wherever he is.

I really hope that doesn't offend anyone....

Not me B. Your opinion is as valid as the next persons and clearly comes from experience. A difficult moral Q (including what constitutes assisted suicide) that ultimately ends up in the High Courts.
